SERENA ENTERS RESELLER TRAINING AGREEMENT WITH MVS TRAINING
Serena Extends Value of its Education Offering by Strengthening its Class Schedule to Provide Mainframe Customers with Critical IT Training

San Mateo, CA – (December 2, 2002) - SERENA Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: SRNA), an industry-leading supplier of software that automates change to enterprise code and content, today announced that it has entered into a reseller training agreement with MVS Training, Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, Serena will host a series of customized hands-on training courses provided by MVS Training and aimed at mainframe customers. The courses, which cover a broad range of critical IT topics, are designed to meet an individual company's professional needs and work environment. By signing this agreement, Serena is able to extend the value of its education offering with additional classes that help mainframe customers improve not only their own, but their organization's, technical savvy and business success.
