ASSEMBLER PROGRAMMING - BASIC

Students code, assemble, and execute a series of programs using fixed point and decimal feature instructions, with instructor - supplied JCL and test data.
AUDIENCE Programmers who wish to extend their skill's inventory to the Assembler level. Prior knowledge of another language is recommended, particularly beneficial for COBOL programming efficiency.
GOALS
  • Code the complete solution to a series of problems using IBM Assembler language instructions.
  • Utilize Macros to handle I/O functions.
  • Understand / code instructions that are used for common Macros.
  • Correct Assembler errors
