RACF Introduction & Administration 5 days This course provides RACF administrators with an introduction to RACF and guidance for administering RACF. There is a discussion of RACF concepts and functions. The presentation discusses the features and options to implement for user identification and authentication; the purpose and use of groups for organizing the RACF database and granting access. A detailed explanation of how RACF protects datasets and a wide range of other general resources is also provided. Access monitoring is described as well as the authorities and mechanisms for security administration. Attendees receive instructions, guides, and examples of the commands and utilities used in administering RACF. GOALS Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
